Ok, so I'm gonna start this post by saying that early monday morning I was really ill, and then not bother you with any of the details. Basically I spent the rest of the day sleeping off whatever bug or s'mink it was that I had. poor lil me
Tuesday started off a bit weird as well. Somehow I'd managed to get me phone outa me pillow case (where i put it at night so as to be sure that it wakes me,) and it had ended up under a chair at the bottom of me bed. needless to say it failed to wake me up. I still wasn't feeling quite right after monday,but that may have had s'mink to do with hardly eating anything.
So after the previous showing of the first two LotR films i ended up heading over to riches to see the third. this time i even arrived in tome for food :O. one again the evening involved jim baiting. poor jim. but yeah, watched the film, chatted nonsense, then headed home in jim's lil car. Doesn't sound all that amazing but i really did enjoy it.

So yeah, i was bored today n decided to look up what some stufs in dreams supposedly means (not stuff related to any of mu dreams, lol)

So nothing much really happend today, other than me having to go to a 3 hour lecture and a seminar *pulls a face*. At least the lecture was given by one of the lecturers I like. I mean he actually givis his opinion on things, and he somehow seems to make whatever it is he's takin bout intersting, which was good since I wasn't really all that enthusiastic on learining bout cubism for 3 hours. It turned out to be pretty interesting though, and I wrote waaaaaaay to many notes. The lecturer also gave us a 20 min break in the middle to go get lunch n such so i took this opportunity to buy a plateful of curly fries....and an Oasis drink. could someone please explain to me why curled up fries always seem to taste better thahen when their in any other form?

Early on in the evening I had a craving to potato waffles. I didn't get them straight away though since I ended up wandering up to Asda with laura instead (and buying yet another new book, oops). By the time I got back to hall my craving for waffles had developed into a craving for american waffles/pancakes which I didn't have. poor lil me. So yeah, life's a downer when ur lacking waffles

I now have lectures again. What more do I need to say...

Well, yesterday I had some lectures. *pulls a face* i guess they weren't too bad, but they didn't seem all that interesting either. Durin the last chunk of lectures before christmas I discovered that the only way I could stay awake enough to actually take in any of what the lecturer was saying was to write down everything they said. Not for reference later, but so that I was actually doing s'mink other than letting me mind wander. It's a technique that seems to work well, but doesn't half give ur hand cramp after a while.

Why do people have to burn their pancakes at 2:30 am??

Honestly, it's a perfectly valid question. I mean, WHY? lol
The reason for me asking this is because thats exactly what's just happened. They got it all sorted out real quick n all, but most people were still left standing round outside all bleary eyed n cold for bout 30 mins or so. All I can say is that I'm just so happy that it's friday otherwise we'd have a whole load of grumpy people wandering bout the place 2-moz. so yeah, with that I'm gonna head off to bed n try to get some sleep. All I have to do first is to set me alarm. Now, where did I leave me phone............

The great non-event that is the new year

So this year new year was just one non stop snail ride, consisting of eating some bread and watching re-runs of "have I got news for you". I'm not complaining, It wasn't a bad evening or anything. It just wasn't new year.

So yeah I just finished the final boss on Galaxy so YAY!!! ^_^
I have to say that the final boss thing isn't actually all that hard. The run up to it can get irritating at times (evil lava tunnel), though It's still enjoyable. So yeah I guess that very end is just a case of quickly looking at exactly what you've got and using it. I'm sooo glad I completed it today since I'd only played it one other time in the last coupla weeks since i've been trying to concentrate on me essay n stuffs.
I think I agree with what dave said in his review, about how the lil story book thing is kinda disjointed and not really fitting in with the rest of the games story. But anyways, I'm gonna carry on playing. I'm sooo not gonna get all the stars, but there are a whole loada galaxies that I completely missed out. This actually meant that I only got to use two of mario's costumes once, and I completely skipped another, lol. so yeah, I needa go find them. Atm I'm kinda confused as to why the big L in the sky is there, but I'm hoping to find out at some point = )

EDIT: Oh dear, this entire post seems to be me rambling about a video game. not a good sign. lol

So......what the heck can I type now

So after being almost internet-less for almost three weeks I can finally get online in me room, and you know what....I have no idea what to type. I could talk about moving in, the fact that I meet anyone else from my floor for the first 3 days, the people in chantry halls of residence (I'm in Hamwic). The three guys from me kitchen who I now tend to hang out with most, the fact that one of them was a total idiot two night back when he was totally off his head on cannabis and we all had to stand outside because there was a small fire in one of the kitchens. I could mention my trip to London, the fact that each day I'm getting to lessons slightly less late so eventually I'll arrive on time. (I know, shocking isn't it). I could go on about the evenings spent over at Pete's place with him and Alex, or about the Alpha course, which is really great. I could rant for hours about how much I totally love the lil church we go to now and how totally at home I felt there the first week. I could mention the freshers fair, and free beans and spatulas, or the bizarre student-e type things I've found meself cooking. I could thank me new church for all the food we've ben getting through it, and how amazingly welcome they've made me feel. I could have a real moan about just how noisy the halls get at round 2:15 when all the drunk peeps come stampeding in shouting and swearing having just been chucked out of the clubs. I'm tempted to mention watching "the Prestige" and "The Shawshank Redemption" and just how good they both were, or go into a mini rant about just how much I suck at Mario 64, but how I'm going to buy it for me Wii anyways. I could go on about all of those things, but I won't since I have no idea what to say.............
